Thoughts on this WM Scenario

Cody rejects the Rock’s offer to be the board’s “Corporate Champion”. As a result, the Rock helps CM Punk win the Elimination Chamber with a little convincing from Paul Heyman fulfilling the favor owed to Punk for helping Roman late last year (this has been proposed by several fans on the subs so I don’t want to seem like I’m taking credit for it).

Or maybe the favor is left out of EC and Punk uses it later, turning Heyman heel eventually leading to a Roman/Heyman split which later on leads to Heyman revealed to be The Rock’s “wiseman” and a Rock vs Roman WM Main Event next year in New Orleans.

But im getting ahead of myself, back to this year…

CM Punk turning corporate heel would be the ultimate swerve that still makes logical sense because he’s already planted the seeds stating his return is about making money. He’s said multiple times that is all he cares about. The Rock made him an offer he can’t refuse as a backup if Cody rejected his offer. And if its revealed later that Heyman was behind it all, it makes even more sense.

I think Cena should face Logan Paul at WM and chase for the title later by winning MiTB. This will be set up by Logan somehow screwing Cena during the EC match and thus getting revenge on Cena for eliminating him from the Royal Rumble.

Then WM on the men’s side looks like this

CM Punk vs Cody Rhodes Jey Uso vs Gunther John Cena vs Logan Paul Roman Reigns vs Seth Rollins Drew McIntyre vs Damien Priest Sami Zain vs Kevin Owens (Hell in a Cell)

Other possible match-ups Dominic Mysterio vs Finn Balor (loser leaves the Judgement Day) Solo vs Jacob Fatu (for control of the Bloodline) Penta vs Chad Gable (possibly as an opener for night 1) Bron Breaker vs AJ Styles (for the IC title) LA Knight vs TBD (i doubt it’ll be Nakamura and I think Knight will have the US title by then).

The only match-ups I don’t like in this scenario are Drew vs Damien and whatever they’re doing with LA Knight. Neither have been built up properly but they have some time to string storylines together but they’ll feel rushed and weak.
